The Sansthan is a dream come true matter to the visionary freedom fighter ‘Comrade Late Kallappanna Hortikar’and his colleagues. A committed rationalist has his committed efforts to bring revolutionary changes of inclusive growth amidst the tight traditional society with caste diversity.
Situated at the fag end of Maharashtra aspires of Umadi and surrounding villages had to displace to senior colleges at Jath, 50 kilometers away. The girls with geographical, lodging and boarding constraints had no option but to discontinue education.

‘Sarvodaya Sikshana Sanstha’ was one of the flagship institutions that realised the significance of education in this drought prone zone of Maharashtra. It runs Secondary schools ,Higher Secondary colleges, Agriculture Diploma, Paramedical courses; DMLT, X-ray Technician, CPM and ‘Samata Ashrama shala’ (OBC Bahujan Kalyan Vibhag Government of Maharashtra).

Catering to Higher Education aspirants of Umadi and it’s surrounding villages, Arts Commerce and Science college is opened. Being a self funded institution and learners coming from the peasant families, it is a challenge for Sarvodaya Sikshana Sanstha. However, every effort is taken to meet the demands. The college is heading for its first Accreditation and we wish the stakeholders to support in the entire process.

‘Sarvodaya Sikshana Sanstha’ built on the motto of Vidya Vineyn Shobhate is fully engrossed in the educational development of the drought prone eastern part of Jath Tahasil. Along with the basic education facility, Higher Education facility is provided to the aspiring youth. We are trying to build the capacity of the youth to meet the challenges of the 21st century. Arts, Commerce Science college is playing a very important role in empowering women. The credit for the diversified growth of the institution goes to its stakeholders!
